Whakamārama:

Kei te kaa tonu ngā ahi o te tangata whenua ahakoa kei wīwī kei wāwā.

Scope Note:

“Keep the home fires burning.” As long as there are people (iwi, whānau, hapū) residing on the land, those people can exercise land ownership and stewardship.
